  Locking Down Expenses

ABL Management, Inc. recognizes that corrections is a market requiring a dedicated company to respond to the unique requirements of your correctional facilities.

Food Service is a critical function that can contribute to a smooth operating correctional facility or can be the cause for disturbances.

As inmate populations constantly increase, we provide correctional administrators with a high quality, cost effective program to meet their daily problems of feeding inmates.

We can also manage and operate the inmate commissary for your facility. This will relieve your staff for other duties and, in addition, will provide funds for your Inmate Welfare Fund, if this is applicable in your jurisdiction.

Our hiring practices involve a thorough screening process which is followed by formal instruction and on-the-job training.  We instill qualities to maintain professional personnel dedicated to providing high quality service.  The qualities ABL Management, Inc. looks for in hiring staff are experienced self-starters, who manage proactively, and who are resourceful, and responsible, with a positive and friendly attitude.

Our highly qualified, well-trained unit Managers receive constant supervision and training appraisals from our District Managers. In addition, our Corporate Quality Control Specialists, conduct ongoing, intensive inspection of all phases of service to assure operational objectives are achieved and customer satisfaction is maintained.

ABL Management, Inc. will adhere to your security guidelines, insuring all employees have your security approval before hiring.

The menus and food service provided by ABL Management, Inc. meet the requirements and calorie intake recommendations of the American Correctional Association, National School Lunch and Breakfast Program, Food and Nutritional Board of the National Academy of Science, National Sheriffs' Association, National Commission for Correctional Health Care, and also meet all Federal, State and Local guidelines, laws and regulations.

If your facility receives USDA Commodities, ABL Management, Inc. will make every effort to use as many commodities as possible in our menus, as this would result in substantial savings for your facility.
